Cameron began experimenting with improvisation and composition in his early years with his first sketches at age 10. Through years of practice, experimentation and exposure to an immense range of repertoire, Cameron has developed an exceptional ear for detail, voicing and harmony.
His works have been performed by Sarah Curro, musicians of the Australian National Academy of Music, musicians of the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Alchemy Quartet.
After arranging over fifty songs for his string quartet, Organic Quartet, his arrangements have been sought by numerous groups around Melbourne and even across Australia. He has also worked as score consultant for film composition.
